The allPIXA evo line scan camera family delivers CMOS performance in CCD image quality in mono, RGB and NIR with high resolution of 8k, 10k and 15k. Equipped with 10 GigE and CoaXPress interfaces, it is a great solution for all high-speed and web inspection tasks. The interfaces allow very long cables without data loss in complex industrial environments.

The line scan camera family is based on quadlinear CMOS sensors. Filters in the near-infrared range enable the detection of object features in the visible and NIR spectrum with one camera, e.g. in sorting or object or defect detection.

All illumination types and geometries of the powerful Chromasens Corona II LED line illumination family can be used for image capture with allPIXA evo.

SENSOR

Multispectral line sensors with an excellent signal-to-noise ratio enable the precise capture of high-quality images. Small pixel sizes of 5 µm enable shorter sensor lengths and thus allow a more compact design and the use of standardized lenses with M72/M95 and F-mount. Thanks to the high sensitivity of the sensor, the camera delivers the best results at high speeds in high resolution.

INTERFACES

The camera series offers industrial interface standards with 2 x 10 GigE and 4 x CoaXPress and cable lengths of up to 100 m. The interfaces enable Power over CoaXPress (PoC).

LINE RATES

The 10 GigE interface and the CoaXPress interface enable simple integration with line rates of up to 100 kHz each in color and mono.

SOFTWARE

For easy integration, the camera offers a GenICam compatible graphical tool (GCT) and user-friendly SDK. This enables fast implementation of camera control and high-speed image acquisition under Windows or Linux.

SPECTRAL SENSITIVITY

APPLICATIONS

The allPIXA evo line scan camera series exceeds the requirements of demanding applications such as material sorting, web inspection and general machine vision tasks.

The additionally available NIR channel provides useful information that is in the RGB wavelength spectrum.

As a result of this and the high resolution of the sensors, even more defects on the inspected objects or foreign objects are detected during the inspection, for example during food sorting.
